Allison Marinelli, Tuesday June 5, 8:00 pm in Prairie Ink Restaurant. Launch of Paddling in Peeptoes. Allison Marinelli is a Broadcast Journalist for Kidela Capital Group, a multimedia news company focused on sharing the stories of start-up businesses. She recently completed her degree in Creative Communications at Red River College. She majored in journalism with a diploma from Red River and a degree from the joint program with the University of Winnipeg. Being a subscriber to Vanity Fair and Vogue and having a mild obsession with Lady Gaga, her love affair for the outdoors often got pushed to the wayside. She conducted her research with a set of lab rats/ very loyal pair of friends, in an intense canoe trip over the 20 km Mantario trail. With Paddling in Peeptoes, Allison was able to marry her two great loves of the outdoors and indoors and prove that you can wear stilettos and floral print and still enjoy a good old fashioned canoe trip, just maybe not at the same time.
